About Me

My name is Franki Webb and I’m an archaeologist and writer. I started my working life as a journalist but decided to chase my dreams of being an archaeologist.  My writing mostly focuses the problematic nature of Western archaeology and archaeology in the media.

Although I love all aspects of archaeology (except pollen and seeds), my specialism is in the  zooarchaeology in Mesoamerica and archaeogaming. I received my masters from University College London in 2017 and I hope to pursue a PhD in archaeology in the future.

Other than archaeology, I love video games, Japanese dramas, cats, yoga, krav maga and rock climbing.
